Our policy intends to show our transparency to you, to clarify the reasons for gathering information on you, and to ensure the correctness of this user information. The Policy explains what and how The Crowd Versus collects, uses, stores, and protects the information gathered from your visit to its Website. By visiting and using the Website, you agree to this Policy and the uses made of your personal information as set forth or amended later.

You have the right to know which specific personal data The Crowd Versus gathers during your website visit. You have the right to have this data corrected. You have the right to ask for this data to be deleted. And you have the right to know how your personal data will be treated.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW IT IS USED
Right to Know: Upon visiting the Website, your browser automatically sends The Crowd Versus your IP-address, the type of browser you are using, and certain other information. The Crowd Versus may decide to use this information for research and marketing purposes or to enhance the Website. It will not sell this information, and it will only dissemble this information about you as outlined and pursuant to laws and regulations.
Right to How Data Will Be Treated: When you use our Website to make donations, apply for our Ambassador program, or request information, you will be required to provide personal information. When you make a donation, The Crowd Versus will solely disclose your first name, last name, email address, and country of residence to the beneficiary fundraiser(s) of the The Crowd Versus case of your choice. The Crowd Versus will not sell, trade, or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information to any third party, unless stated otherwise in this Policy, or required by law, or as required to protect The Crowd Versus’ rights.
The user database is subject to the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act. The personal data collected by The Crowd Versus will be stored as follows: (1) for one-time Donors, the legally prescribed term of seven (7) years; or (2) as long as a registered Donor/User wants to be informed about the cases; and/or (3) until deleted at the request of Donor/User.
Right to Correct and/or Delete: There may be features on the Website allowing you to contact The Crowd Versus via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, which provides The Crowd Versus with your email address and certain other personal information contained in the email. By sending The Crowd Versus an email, you consent to knowingly and voluntarily provide us with your personal information.
The Crowd Versus uses this information for payment purposes to Ambassadors and to enhance the Website. This information is not disclosed to either The Crowd Versus or any of the Ambassadors. Prior to any use, the information is aggregated and does not include any personally identifiable information, apart from the email address.

The Crowd Versus collects your name, email address, and country of residence to comply with “Know Your Customer” (KYC) rules in place, to verify and monitor customer risk, and in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Laws.
The Crowd Versus has safeguarded all personal data and information collected during your visit to the Website with organizational and technological safety measures.
Your continued use of the Website, after the effective date of any changes, will constitute your consent and acceptance of all of the changes.
